Our Teton Middle School 8th Grade Girls Basketball Team, coached by Kathryn Brown, took Second at our District Tuornament in Salmon. Our team all received medals. In the top picture, Nikole proudly wears her medal. The second photo is our team. The third photo is our team, with Sugar's Champion team. They had 15 players; we had 10. In the bottom photo, our sweet friend, Amree Bean, from Sugar, poses with Nikole, after a mean game, they are once again friends.

Food Storage Deals 2011
Being the Relief Society President has had many blessings, but one of the best is that it made me look closely at our own food storage. My friend told me about a web site, where you can easily look up the weekly newspaper ad deals that are better than Wal Mart or Costco. We've saved a ton of money stocking up on things the past couple of years, this way. This picture was taken after I drug Blaine into Albertson's with me, for this deal. He didn't know what we were buying, but when people started to stare at me, because my card was overflowing with toilet paper and paper towels, he ducked behind the aisles until I was checked out. : )

Precious Poppy
Another small miracle to me is the Pink Poppy growing once again. One year, when we still lived in our manufactured home, the whole north side of our house, in the flower bed, as totally consumed with the gorgeous flowers, but after a couple of years, they stopped blooming. I've tried to get them to grow occasionally since, and haven't had any luck. I risked my mom's seeds this spring, and this little bunch of the poppies came up! I'm planning on collecting the seeds this fall, and am going to try them in a regular flower bed, close to the house next year. I've always loved this flower.
My Weeping Wilow tree went crazy this year! It grew and grew. It actually bend over and looked like it was weeping, reminds me of my Grandma Violet White. They had one in their yard, and now I have one, too.
Game of Friendly Croquette Labor Day 2011
Our family had a fun time at Grandma and Grandpa White's in Blackfoot over Labor Day. Derek invited Kaelee to come and play croquette with us.
Elizabeth starts playing the Tenor Saxophone 2011
Elizabeth started band this fall. She wanted to play a saxophone, but there were too many alto sax's, so she was asked to play a Tenor Saxophone. The school happened to have one we can rent, so she began a couple weeks later than her class. She practices like crazy, and caught right up with her class. You can see the instrument is almost as big as she is. She packs it to the sidewalk, after school, and then we hoist it into the trunk.
In the one picture, she has her friend, Kirsten, playing the clarinet, Carl the violin, and Nikole on piano
Miss C is her teacher, and Elizabeth adores her.
Two Jugglers over Labor Day 2011
Blaine and Derek show their juggling capabilities for Kortny and Kutter. We're at Grandma and Grandpa White's in Blackfoot, enjoying a picnic in their pretty back yard, with Christian's family.
